Upgrading procedure for version 2.0:

Just reinstall the package or turn on automatic updates.

Upgrading procedure for older versions:

NB! Upgrading procedure can take long time if you have a lot of data. It is good idea to have fresh backup before you begin.

Uninstall old version. Locate ...\snmptools\uninstall.cmd and run it. (Do NOT run ...\snmptools\snmpmon\uninstall.cmd which does only part of the job). Rename ...\snmptools directory (it may be deleted later). Install new version. It may be installed to the same directory where it was installed previously.

If the database was never moved to another computer then it has to be moved into new folder:

• Go to the directory where you just installed it
• Run EdgSetup.exe and click Uninstall
• Move your current SNMPTOOLS.mdf database to ...\snmptools\database subfolder (overwrite existing SNMPTools.mdf), delete SNMPTOOLS_log.LDF from both directories. Current database may be found in "C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL.1\MSSQL\Data" (depends on individual setup).
• Run EdgSetup.exe again and click Install
